Kiron is a senior corporate Management professional with more than 40 years of varied experience across industries in the SAARC region. Throughout his leadership roles, Kiron has excelled in marketing and initiating new projects, identifying strategies and techniques to expand the customer base, thereby fostering productivity. Despite decent qualifications, Kiron felt his street smartness has got him more results.
His customer-centric approach has been instrumental in starting grassroots projects, creating profit centers as well as restructuring and turning around companies. Kiron advises firms with effective process designs and strategies to maximize profits and grow market share in business - Many a time with an out-of-the-box solution.
His forté is Operations and Project Management, Customer Service as well as Strategic Planning and Restructuring.
Kiron has a Bachelor’s degree, LLB and Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Marketing from DAV College, Ambala, Haryana, MS University, Gujarat and BHU – Varanasi, India respectively. In March 2020, he became a qualified and assessed Independent Director by IICA/MCA – India. He is a Fellow of both the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing and the Sri Lanka Institute of Professional Managers. He has also been a Life member of the All India Management Association and The Sri Lanka Institute of Directors.
Kiron is a very good sportsman, who yet remains an avid and passionate Tennis player.
If he had to attribute his management style to a mantra, it would be one he picked up decades ago from Peter Drucker and that would be the importance of being an effective executive and not necessarily an efficient one.
