By Vinita Shenoy adapted from Don’t Quit by John Greenleaf Whittier
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the new Normal makes you think When the 24 hours u have is just not enough
When friends are only there on screen,
Breathe as you must but don’t Quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns, So much fun, also so much pain, To watch the scores of people lose their lives,
But we have stuck it out and breathe for another day.
You don’t live life just once you live it every day
But you die just once, so add life to the life you live every day
Often the goal is nearer than It seems,
So kick the ball or dunk it in, you will get the ball eventually in.
Often all that we need is to fill someone’s cup to double ones joy from within.
Learning the new normal is tough to begin
Hygiene is not any more a good habit it is a survival skill.
Success like happiness you cannot chase after it,
But if you learn, relearn adjust and adapt
The New Normal is just in your lap.
Success comes not to strongest or the biggest or the fastest
But to those who can bring a smile to another’s life.
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit - It's when things seem worst that you mustn't quit.
